Itinerary description
This 3-4 hours walk is especially for those, who already made it through the most advertised, nice, thus overcrowded tourist places in Prague. If you like to walk in more quiet places and relax, try my favourable walk. I am living in Prague the whole life, but I always find something new and magic in these side streets...

Lennon memorial place
Lennon memorial place I was there in 1981- just one year after Lennon was killed. There was a peaceful demonstration of young people, singing Lennon and Beatles songs, lighting candles and remembering John Lennon. Of course, it was watched by secret police ( STB) . Finally, police thought that it would change into protest against the socialist regime and forced this gathering to the end with the help of police. Actually, by this police helped to create the spirit around this wall and it became soon very famous. From then it started to be called Lennon wall.

Trziste street
Trziste street You can see 2 police men checking the undercarriage of cars and the motor space of cars going up the street. Reason : security measures, as there is U.S. embassy at the left of this street some 100m from here

Nicest viewpoint of Prague
Nicest viewpoint of Prague Tip : For Prague fans or photographers : really best view of this part of Prague you can have from the little sqare concrete point, which is cca 40 m above this waypoint the West- you can see it in Google. It is very hard to get there, most tourists will not even see this place. You can either take the hard climb up ( there is a path) or to take the little detour to the South, then to the West (to the forrest) and finally North.
