The most famous part of the Bohemian Paradise is undoubtedly Prachovské skály, a paradise for climbers. This rocky town is located less than 10 km northwest of the town of Jičín. You can choose between several tourist circuits.
Our tour starts from the parking lot near Prachov. After passing through the entrance, we climbed a flight of stairs to the vyhlídka Křizkovského viewing point, dedicated to a composer of Czech traditional song, Křižkovský, who became known even outside the Czech borders. On a rock at the viewpoint we find the commemorative plaque from 1930.
We continue cresting along the top to the vyhlídka Míru viewpoint, which gives us magnificent views over the stone city of Prachovske. Then, a few meters away, we find. The Vihdlíka českého Ráje- viewpoint, from where we get the best views over the landscape of the stone city of Prachov. Some signs explain the history and nature of the National Park in Czech and English.
From there we descend to the depths of the stone valley through a very narrow crack between the rocks, through which barely a person can fit. After a few meters in the valley, we ascend again and continue along the red section to return.
