Itinerary description

A casual walk on sidewalk or pavements during a public transportation strike.

I start at Karaiskaki Square, in the middle of Piraeus port. I continue towards the new Piraeus Tower, then I pass the derelict Kerania factory, and shift over to Pireos Avenue (Leoforos Pireos).

I continue on Pireos Avenue, passing by the planned ΧΡΩΠΕΙ Innovation District, the Elais old factory site, and the National Theater Drama School.

I cross Kifisos riverbank and continue eastwards, towards the Athens Festival Pireos 260 art venue, the Athens School of Fine Arts, and the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center.

I continue northwards past Benaki Museum, Pireos chapter, and across Technopolis venue, I transfer onto the pedestrianized Ermou street.

I pass by Keramikos archaeological site, and finish this walk at Thissio subway station.
