In Philadelphia you have to enter with the car until the very center of the city. In the parking lot where we left the car (covered by the town hall) the references were good, in our case we were loaded with suitcases on our way from Boston to Washington. . . no problem.
The City Hall is huge and majestic, like all public buildings in the US, with an air of Versailles. Opposite the city's mason temple, lavish and larger than the cathedral.
The interesting thing is to visit the House, the former State House, where the independence of the USA was proclaimed, and later the US Constitution was voted.
It is curious, because the buildings that are state heritage are managed by the Rangers of the National Parks service.
