Itinerary description
A Mata Nacional das Dunas Litorais de VRSA é uma vasta área de pinhal que abriga múltiplas espécies de fauna (camaleão, chapim, poupa, trigueiro) e flora (cardo-marítimo, rosmaninho, giesta) e convida a agradáveis passeios «+ Saúde». Existe aqui uma oferta de diversos percursos (mata e praia) de dificuldade diversa (desde 3 até 15 km’s), com áreas de descanso e parques de merendas.
The scrubland area of the VRSA Mata Nacional das Dunas Litorais is a vast area of pine groves that provides shelter for many species of fauna (e.g. chameleons, tits, hoopoes and rock buntings) and flora (e.g. sea holly, french lavender and broom). It is a delightful place to enjoy “+ Health” walks. There are several routes to choose from (scrubland and beach) with various difficulty levels (from 3 km to 15 km) and there are resting stops and picnic areas along the way.
