Itinerary description
This is a stunning walk that starts in Pateley Bridge and goes through Skrikes Wood, up onto Naught Moor, and then back down to Pateley Bridge.
I have marked the lowest cost parking option (honesty box) that is just over the bridge at Pateley Bridge.
The first part of the walk (and the last part on the return) is along the streets through Bewerley, and this is less interesting. However, the wood and moor certainly make up for the less interesting initial part. The slightly less interesting return path could also be altered by taking one of the other paths near the end (perhaps one from Fishpond Wood to the B6265).
The climb through Skrikes Wood to get to the moor is stunning, as you come out onto the moor the views across the valley are majestic.
