Itinerary description

The walk starts from Pasir Ris Park, out through the Pasir Ris Heights housing estate and then following Pasir Ris Drive 3. We then join the relatively new (I think!) Lorong Halus Park Connector, which merges shortly with Pasir Ris Farmway 3 road. This part is relatively featureless and quite exposed (read: hot!) but it's also quite popular with cyclists. A very brief passage through the Lorong Halus Wetlands area and over the red Lorong Halus bridge, then you are into the Punggol WaterWay park. This area is quite built up and you are surrounded by HDB flats, but it's also quite beautiful. Once you reach Waterway point shopping centre, you can pause for refreshments if so needed, but plough on to Jewel Bridge. From there, turn southwards on Punggol Park Connector until you reach the Sengkang floating wetlands. This section from Jewel onwards is also very popular, so expect much more human activity at this part. The walk ends at Sengkang.
