Short walk along Port Barton Beach, west of the tourist island of Palawan, in this incredible Philippine archipelago. This little town is on the way between the hyperturistic Nido (to the north) and the capital of the island, Puerto Princesa. It is a small village, with a fairly quiet environment despite the fact that more and more tourists are coming in search of precisely that tranquility ... which may end up taking away that magic. The streets of the town are not even paved and there is certainly a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The beach without being anything of the other world, has the typical image of tropical bay of white sand, calm waters (in good weather) and the jungle literally engulfing the sand. There are quite a few complexes scattered along the beach, but they are quite discreet, so they do not affect the surroundings too much. Departures are organized (as in other areas such as the Nest) in boats to visit the surroundings of this place.
It is easy to arrive in vans both from the Nest and from Puerto Princesa. The truth is that in this area of the Philippines the whole transport issue is very well organized.
