Para nuestra segunda aventura en tierras británicas, conducimos desde Bristol hasta St. John's Road en Bath, donde aparcamos el coche (aunque se trata de una zona solo para residentes, no nos damos cuenta y dejamos el coche aparcado en dicha calle debido a un error de confusión con las dos Edward Streets de la ciudad; es en la otra Edward Street donde según una página web es posible aparcar sin pagar). Caminamos por St. John's Road y luego por St. Michael's Road hasta enganchar Upper Bristol Road y Lark Pl . Nos introducimos en el Parque Victoria y pasamos junto al Estanque y el Obelisco antes de alcanzar el maravilloso Royal Crescent. Después, siguiendo Brock Street llegamos al famoso The Circus. Descendiendo por Gay Street giramos a la derecha por Queen Parade Pl y después girando de nuevo a la derecha por The Gravel Walk nos acercamos hasta el Jardín Georgiano. Volvemos sobre nuestros pasos hasta Gay Street y luego continuamos por Wood Street y New Bond Street hasta la Iglesia de St. Michael y la Biblioteca Central. Después continuamos por Bridge Street hasta el famoso Puente Pulteney. Cruzamos el Río Avon por el mismo y caminamos por su orilla hasta el North Parade Bridge, para cruzar de nuevo el río y regresar a la zona vieja de la ciudad. Llegamos por fin a la plazoleta Reymond Langton, junto a los antiguos Baños Romanos y la Abadía de Bath. Rodeamos los baños y a través de Bath Street nos acercamos hasta The Cross Bath. Regresamos a Stall Street y luego callejeamos en dirección a la Estación de Autobuses en Dorchester Street (entrando en el camino en un Marks & Spencer). Después, siguiendo Manvers Street llegamos hasta la Iglesia Católica de San Juan Evangelista, donde es posible entrar gratis. Tras echarle un vistado al jardín de la iglesia, iniciamos el camino de regreso por Pierrepont Street y desde allí volvemos a pasar junto a la Abadía de Bath para callejear de vuelta a Queen Square. Siguiendo Chapel Row primeramente y luego Manmouth llegamos al Aparcamiento de Charlotte y desde el mismo volvemos al Parque Victoria. Pasamos junto al obelisco y luego continuamos por Tennyson Road y Cork Ter, para finalmente regresar a St. John's Road a través de St. Michael's Road. Un paseo estimulante por una de las ciudades más bonitas de toda Inglaterra. Con Sonia (07-08-2023).

For our second adventure in British soil, we drive from Bristol to St. John's Road in Bath, where we park the car (although it is a residents-only area, we don't realize it and leave the car parked on that street due to a mistake of confusion with the two Edward Streets of the city; it is in the other Edward Street where according to a web page it is possible to park without paying). We walked down St. John's Road and then up St. Michael's Road until we hit Upper Bristol Road and Lark Pl. We enter Victoria Park and pass by the Pond and the Obelisk before reaching the wonderful Royal Crescent. Then, following Brock Street we arrive at the famous The Circus. Going down Gay Street we turn right onto Queen Parade Pl and then turning right again onto The Gravel Walk we approach the Georgian Garden. We retrace our steps to Gay Street and then continue along Wood Street and New Bond Street to St. Michael's Church and the Central Library. We then continue along Bridge Street to the famous Pulteney Bridge. We crossed the River Avon by it and walked along its bank to the North Parade Bridge, to cross the river again and return to the old part of the city. We finally arrived at Reymond Langton Square, next to the old Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. We go around the baths and through Bath Street we approach The Cross Bath. We returned to Stall Street and then wandered in the direction of Dorchester Street Bus Station (entering the road at a Marks & Spencer). Then, following Manvers Street we arrive at the Catholic Church of San Juan Evangelista, where it is possible to enter for free. After taking a look at the church garden, we start our way back along Pierrepont Street and from there we go past Bath Abbey to stroll back to Queen Square. Following Chapel Row first and then Manmouth we arrive at the Charlotte Parking and from there we return to Victoria Park. We pass the obelisk and then continue along Tennyson Road and Cork Ter, finally returning to St. John's Road via St. Michael's Road. An exhilarating walk through one of the most beautiful cities in all of England. With Sonia (07-08-2023).
