Route 58A ends here beside parking area, turns into a driveway. Despite private property signs, the public ROW actually appears to extend east for 650 feet, according to county assessors map..

This would be a good location for a pedestrian bridge across the Susquehanna, if it were possible to build one under the highway bridge. See photo.
Wetlands edge
Edge of oxbow lake/wetland. No hwy ROW fence in this section. An alternative route to 58a could traverse the wetland south via boardwalk then turn east. However this is private property.
Trail
Good deer trail on floodplain. Some wet spots but mostly dry.
Fence
Highway ROW fence begins here, continues to east.
Creek from culvert
Southbound creek flows from highway culvert to oxbow lake. About 4 ft wide, would need bridge or detour N to highway embankment.
Wet area
Wet on both sides of trail. Narrow path btwn wet areas but dense brush.
Wetland
Wetland extends to hwy embankment. Would need boardwalk or detour to highway embankment.
Wetland edge
This is east end of wetland area.
Steep hill
40 foot ascent up to edge of open field on wider DOT/hwy ROW.
End of former 58A
Route 58a ended here in a cul-de-sac but has not been maintained and pavement only visible in some places..
