Itinerary description
Here's another idea of your upcoming weekend trip.
If you are in Batumi, you can get to this place by minibus №77 for 3 Lari (Dec, 2022). Your stop is Zeda Makhuntseti. The stone bridge is about 300 meters from the stop, and the main waterfall - 500 meters, but from the opposite side of the road. At both spots, there are many tourists, food points and souvenir vendors.
My route was to get to the main waterfall first, then go up the mountain by serpentine road. The good thing is that not that many people are willing to walk up the mountains, so all the crowds are behind.😜 On the way you'll see the zip-line spot, then the second waterfall, from the left side of the road. There are some small bridges and a water mill as well. Actually, the second waterfall is the nicest one. You can climb rocks and sit near the water, enjoy peaceful nature, there is no one around you. If you go further, you will reach Zeda Makhuntset village, which is surrounded by mountain ranges with an unforgettable landscape. The locals were nice as well. One grandpa even shared just picked persimmons with us.🥰
You are outside of the village, and it's about 15-20 mins to get to the third waterfall. The area is equipped with gazebos and a grill, so you can take a break after walking. Actually, there is a restaurant in the area, but it seems to be worked during high season only. Okay, this is the end of the route. Don't miss the chance to see what was hidden while you are walking down.🙈
When you are back, go to the stone bridge to pass through it and get some shots. Hooray, mission completed.😎

Completed this trail together with a 5 y.o. boy :-), so you get the difficulty level of the track. Very nice scenery on the way back.
