To get there you have to take Juan Tomas Rd, which is well past Tijeras, and the well known by the locals, Otero Canyon. After this there are some signs on the road that indicate the detour.
The start of the route can be done at Mahogany Trailhead, or a little earlier, as we did. The route is followed very well, but a map of the area is recommended since there are many forks!
Pleasant for the whole family, as it has almost no unevenness
