Short walk through the tea plantations (near Haputale) to climb to "Lipton's Seat", a viewing point at the top of the hill where this former plantation owner sat to contemplate the landscape, where there is now a platform and a small restaurant....oh, and a lot of fun, of course!
The road to access leaves Haputale and is somewhat narrow, especially in the final part, so every time you come across another vehicle (if there are several and one is a little big, I won't even tell you) the trouble arises. Personally, I consider that the attraction itself does not justify this inconvenience of excessive traffic going up a small mountain road that is not enough.
IMPORTANT NOTE: THE DIFFICULTY WITH WHICH I CATALOG MY ROUTES IS REFERRED TO MOUNTAINEERS USUAL TO WALKING, WHO CARRY WITH PROFICIENCY ON ALL TERRAINS, NOT FOR OCCASIONAL HIkers. IF YOU HAVE LITTLE EXPERIENCE, ADD ONE MORE DEGREE TO THE DIFFICULTY OF MY ROUTES SO THAT YOU DO NOT GET ANY SURPRISES.
