Itinerary description
There is free parking right next to the Castle Museum. If the museum is open, there are toilets and a coffee shop.
There are multiple tracks, and we did this walk with a pram, so the terrain is firm and with no difficulties.
There small climb and circular section will reward you with wonderful views over Stornoway and also to the west.
At the end, instead of going uphill over the grass, you can go down to a coffee shop and climb up following the road.
