If you're looking for walks, you're in Japan.
The “excessive” courtesy, such a different and remarkable cuisine, the ryokans, the onsens, the lines.
Japan, the cleanest and most structured country in the world with numerous, super clean and technologically brilliant toilets. You will never have had such clean private parts.
You have to queue at a bus stop to experience Japanese rigor. Public transportation is excellent.
Urban equipment for the blind is extremely sophisticated.
They don't seem to care about water, energy, global warming and consume a lot of plastic in all forms. We wonder if in Europe, we live on the same planet as them.
There are obviously the public baths and onsens that you will miss after the trip.
If you can, you should pay for some quality hotels, ryokans and onsens to discover this amazing Japan.
We traveled with “Au fil du Japon”, a remarkable agency.
Kamakura Beautiful walk worth the detour.
Kawaguchiko LE Fushi, but the ride is not special.

Hakone. Probably not worth the detour. Unless you live in Tokyo and want to get some fresh air.
Nikko Beautiful walk. Tosho-Gu. A must.
Nikko. Nantai and short walk with falls.
Mount Nasu. Beautiful walk that shows the Alps.
Aizu-Wakamatsu Sazaedo which is worth it. The rest ?
Okama Crater Wait until mid May.
Zao-Onsen Do you like onsens?

Kanazawa is a nice town. We covered it in two days.
The fish market is nice and much better than the one in Tokyo.
The Higashi Chaya and Utatsuyama districts are musts.
We were lucky enough to come across weddings.
Korinbo and Katamachi, not our thing.
Kenrokuen Park is very beautiful especially with the cherry trees
There were various artisan markets that were quite amusing, but it was a Saturday. It's a pleasant walk.
