Easy walk among the suggestive nature. It starts from the restaurant parking lot (from the center of Tolmin follow the brown signs Tolminski korita). Entry for adults costs € 4 for children aged 7 to 14 € 2. The map that is delivered is in Italian. We have done the reverse and I recommend it, in this way the climb is all on the road, while for the descent there are many steps. Also by doing the ride in this way you reach the river bed at the end of the path and what's more beautiful to dip your feet in cold water after a nice walk :-)? The exposed parts are really well equipped. The path is feasible by everyone. We (with 2 children aged 6 and 12) took up approx. 1 hour and 1/2. Attention to those who are emotional from heights or suffer from vertigo. Even if the route does not provide any particular difficulty, I suggest to use at least trainers, of course! (I saw people in trouble with flip-flops ...)
PS It is said that Dante Alighieri, a guest in Tolmin, visited the cave of Zadlaz (today of Dante) and drew inspiration for the drafting of his "Inferno". In the cave you can only enter a few meters, after only for speleologists with equipment.
