RU: Kuzminki-Lyublino park walk around the ponds (Novyye Kuz’minki)

Mainly it’s a walk in the park but with some hiking elements. You will see several beautiful ponds as well as you may admire the nice architecture of the old mansion complex of Vlahernskoe-Kuzminki.

In order to get to the trailhead by public transport go to Volzhskaya metro, 1st carriage from the center, exit 2.

TERRAIN: mostly asphalt, gravel and some forest paths. Almost flat walk with a couple of exceptions. The river banks can be walked both ways, but due to the darkness we chose more comfortable roads on the way back.

SEASON: can be walked almost all year round with the exception of the part along the river, this one is better to walk in dry season and still be prepared to quite muddy parts.

SIGNS: no signs of the trail, as it can be walkable in different ways. But there are some other signs in the park where there are mansion and two big lakes. As well there are plenty of resting places, a few restaurants, various kiosks and sports facilities.

KIDS: walkable with kids of all ages.
