Itinerary description

Kranji Marshes opens today. This trip is a walking trip but because there is no transportation access, the trip starts with cycling from Woodlands to the marshes then walk around the park. After walking around, cycle back to Woodlands. The whole trip is about 35KM.

The Marshes is a fresh water marsh. Tt started since Kranji Reservoir is built and the place is flooded. Unfortunately, there is hardly any flora or fauna worthy of note. It ended with just a tourist view.

Just read from news that the marsh area after Raptor Tower is actually off limit to public except when NParks or NSS conducted free tours once a month each. This limits the area to just around the Raptor tower and between the tower and the main entrance is just a metalled road.
