Itinerary description

A little bit of a mixed bag, this walk. Starting from the slopes of Kent Ridge Park, downhill to the pond and then exiting to Science Park 2. Crossing across to NUH and continuing round the rear of NUH campus, and then exiting from the School of Design and Architecture to Clementi Woods Park. From there, crossing over West Coast Highway to West Coast Park, turning eastwards and following the southern coast until the park terminates (somewhat abruptly) at Wholesale Centre road.

Clementi Woods Park

The amphitheatre. Clementi Woods is a little bit of a misnomer - very young trees scattered sparsely around, with few redeeming features.

Entrance to the Marsh Garden

The most lovely corner of the western edge - the marsh garden, leading to the banks of the Sungai Pandan Kecil. My pictures don't do justice to this serene, overgrown and rustic corner.

This narrow strip of the WCP hides the most beautiful arching rain trees, sandwiched between the West Coast Highway and the Pasir Panjang port terminal.
