This easy hike through a stream valley at the foot of the Jirisean Mountains is especially recommended in autumn, when the foliage is intensely red and yellow.

Approximately every hour, a bus leaves from the bus terminal in Gurye to Piagol.
At the terminus, get off and follow the road uphill. Soon the monastery Yeongoksa appears, which is worth a short tour.
After 1 km you cross the hamlet of Jikjeon in a large left turn, where there are several restaurants. At the end of the village, the trail starts in the Jirisan mountains, which you follow as far as an iron footbridge over the stream. Here is the goal of the hike. The way back corresponds to the way there.
