The Temple of Hercules 161-166 AD
The name of the Roman god of the temple was Hercules. The marble statue near the temple area was attributed to the popular Hero God Hercules due to its huge arms. He was also known for his physical strength at that time. There is also a depiction of Hercules on the Roman coins minted in the poem referred to as the temple. The temple is located in a huge sacred area surrounded by porticoes and it is thought that the temple was built on this stone podium. According to an inscription on the upper part of the facade, each ash temple was built during the period when Geminus Marcianos was the governor of the Arabian province. It was built in 161-166 AD by confessing the common rulers of the novel, Markus Arenius, if he gives 53 200. A second temple of lokma was built at the highest point of the acropolis in the north of the castle. It was built in the middle of the second century BC and was later integrated into the structure of the Umayyad complex.
