Itinerary description

Iwata Undo Park (also Iwata Sports Park or Iwata Athletic Park) is located near the one of the two ends of tram line in Toyohashi. It is an athletic park with ball stadium and some other sports arenas. It is also known as one of the popular cherry viewing sites in Toyohashi. The area around the Suijinike Pond shows the stark contrast with the rest of the park. It has the serene and divine atmosphere and the view of Yumihari hills dividing Aichi and Shizuoka Prefecture is refreshing. The park is also picked by hikers as the start of the Yumihari hill trekking.
