It is very easy to do this circuit accompanied by a local guide, which allows you to discover many places where one does not appreciate them at first glance, or does not enter. We were able to try some typical Hoi An refreshments, the Fujian Assembly, and we entered one of the historic houses of Hanoi (Old House of Quang Tang), belonging to a centuries-old family of the place. Part of the movie The Quiet American (very good) was filmed in that house. We were introduced to the owner, who is about 90 years old and is still active and studying Chinese language. And his wife (much younger) and his entire family work there, offering meals to take away or eat on site.
