Itinerary description
The highline179 links two significant components of the Ehrenberg castle, the ruins and Fort Claudia. The suspension bridge spans up to 114 metres above ground across the valley between the two fortifications and the B179 Fern Pass federal highway. The footway is 1.2 metres wide and a deliberately narrow design makes the bridge a technical masterpiece, bringing additional enhancement to the region. To ensure that all visitors enjoy spectacular moments and views while on the bridge, no more than a maximum of 500 people will be on the highline at any one time. An automatic entry system controls the number of visitors.
