Itinerary description
This is a pleasant walk along the 400-year-old city wall built by the Venetians to defend Heraklion. The wall is a wide green space, elevated high above city streets, connecting a series of bastions. It's popular with dog walkers. The walk continues a short distance on the seaside walkway, passing the Natural History Museum.
