Itinerary description

This trail is the traditional Cape Hangklip Circuit day hike/walk which includes a summit of the massif. Technical underfoot, this trail makes for wonderful day outing which is easily undertaken with moderate fitness.

The trail is quite exposed so be sure to take a hat, apply sunscreen, take plenty of water and some food for a few hours. The trail starts and finishes at the trail head's parking lot on the Eastern end of Clarence Road, Pringle Bay.

Do not feed baboons - keep all food concealed and only consume if the surroundings look safe from these animals!
