Itinerary description

Hale circular walk. Interesting walk through the conservation village of Hale. It goes down to the lighthouse on the Mersey and then follows the path along the river until you are nearly at the end of the runway of John Lennon airport. Great for plane spotting but not quiet! The road on the last part can be avoided by going on the footpath to the north. Two pubs in Hale for refreshments
