Gorteen Bay Beach is over a kilometer in length and the further you go the more secluded it gets.
It seems possible to cross over to Dogs Bay after 1.5km to double or even triple the length of this walk.
Errisbeg Mountain provides for a great backdrop especially after having been up there earlier in the day.
