Erill la Vall - Barruera.
A walk recommended for families, flat and with a small descent at the beginning. Along the way, you can see the old stone path that the two villages connected. This is especially seen on the outskirts of Erill and among the kitchen gardens of the village. It is a sunny winter path and shady in summer. Surrounded by oaks, ash trees, boxwood, hazelnuts and hawthorn. Near Barruera, an part of the river makes a very pleasant and bucolic corner. We find a junction, to the right, goes straight to the Sant Feliu passage of Barruera and to the left along the river, following the water trail, where in summer there are trout fishermen who take us to a large walk along the river. Just to pass under the Durro road bridge, we find an old hanging bridge, La Palanca. A little further on the right there is a view of the Romanesque Church of Sant Feliu. Then we arrive at a playground where our route finishes.
Caminada recomanada per famílies, plana i amb una petita baixada a l’inici, la resta plana. Pel camí es pot observar l’antiga via de pedra que comunicava el dos pobles. Això és veu especialment al sortit d’Erill i entre les horts del poble. És un camí assolellat a l’hivern i ombrívol a l’estiu. Envoltat de roures, freixes, boixos, avellaners i arça blanc. Prop de Barruera un colze del riu fa un racó molt agradable i bucòlic. Ens troben amb una bifurcació, a la dreta va directe al Passeig Sant Feliu de Barruera i a l’esquerra per la vora del riu, seguint el camí de l’aigua, on a l’estiu hi ha pescadors de truites ens porta a un gran passeig vora el riu. Tot just passar sota el pont de la carretera de Durro, ens troben a mb un pont antic penjat, la Palanca. Una mica més endavant a la dreta queda una vista de l’Església Romànica de Sant Feliu. Tot seguit arriben a un parc infantil on acaba la nostra ruta.
