Itinerary description
A nice road walk for a sunny Sunday afternoon!
This looped route is part estuary and part country road (no need for hiking boots).
Parked near Murph’s pub which makes for an ideal stop at the end.
A busy place especially on Sundays for good pub grub and atmosphere (pic 5, a summertime view from the terrace)
Walk should take less than 90 minutes without a pub stop.
If parking is full outside pub then there is space for two cars further up the road next to an old church, failing that, one can drive to Saleen where there is plenty and join the route from there.
This trail is also renowned for its interesting and varied bird wildlife (pic 3).
