Itinerary description
The geese are still here in large numbers. The recent mild weather in Ottawa seems to be delaying their departure for the south. A few large groups of 20 or so geese landed on the lake while we were walking around to the peninsula.
Took a picture of some black ducks I could not identify, on the grass near the geese.
There was a new balanced rock sculpture at the end of the peninsula, shown in the last picture.
