These dolmens were probably constructed between 3500 BC and 3000 BC. After the transition of the stone age people from hunter/gatherers to farmers .

Notice the small bowl shaped carvings on top of the cover stone. These are found on many neolithic sites. Their exact meaning is unknown. Maybe used for offerings - but there are many other suggestions.
