Walk from the port of Doha, walking through the souk (although it is not as beautiful or old as others in the east, it is a contrast to the Doha of skyscrapers and to some extent a pleasant haven of peace) and touring the entire "Corniche" (long promenade that connects the port with the main skyscraper area) until you reach the financial center of the city. We return along the "Corniche" to the viewpoint to see the sunset near the Museum of Islamic Art (which we did not have time to visit).
I estimate the route will be 2 or 3 km less than what the GPS indicated (in the souk it went a little crazy and in the shopping center where we ate I didn't turn it off so it was recording without getting a good signal inside the building. Even so It is a good trip, which can be shortened by doing the "Corniche" route in one direction and taking a taxi or a bus.
IMPORTANT NOTE: THE DIFFICULTY WITH WHICH I CATALOG MY ROUTES IS REFERRED TO MOUNTAINEERS USUAL TO WALKING, WHO CARRY WITH PROFICIENCY ON ALL TERRAINS, NOT FOR OCCASIONAL HIkers. IF YOU HAVE LITTLE EXPERIENCE, ADD ONE MORE DEGREE TO THE DIFFICULTY OF MY ROUTES SO THAT YOU DO NOT GET ANY SURPRISES.
Notice: The routes described here, as well as the GPS tracks, are merely indicative. The safety measures specific to each itinerary are the responsibility of the person who carries them out, which will depend on the weather conditions and the physical and technical preparation of the person carrying it out. All the information available here is informative, and the authors are exempt from any responsibility for any mishap that may be suffered by those who voluntarily or voluntarily carry out the route.
