Itinerary description

Simple and short walk through the beautiful tropical mountains and waterfalls.

The trail quickly leads to the upper Diayluma waterfalls. You can swim and refresh yourself in them. And the apogee will be a panoramic view of the valley and the water falling from a height of 220 meters vertically down - Dialuma Falls.

Be ready to face the leeches. There are a lot of them in the tall grass at the beginning of the trail - they literally attacked us. There is no great danger in them, but it is not pleasant.

The main thing is to have protection at hand - special gaiters or membrane socks with tight pants.

Also, do not forget the citronella-based remedy (sold in any store), lemon juice, or salt - leeches can not be torn out. You need to drip on them so that they fall off by themselves. Otherwise, a scar may remain.

It is also better to take light-colored clothes - leeches are more noticeable on them.

It's best to go early in the morning until the sun burns you down and tourists occupy the waterfalls.

After descending to the village, you can walk or take a tuk-tuk to the very bottom and watch the majestic Diayluma Falls from the bottom, from the Bridge. There will also be a bus stop there.

Also, the local guys scared us with wild elephants, but we did not see them. In my opinion, this is too touristic a place, but the nature here is not inferior to man. It's worth keeping this in mind.
