Itinerary description

This is the traditional direct summit route of Devil's Peak. Starting and finishing at Tafelberg Road, the trail makes its way up to the saddle and then directly upwards towards the summit.

Due to the exposure of this trail to the elements, such as sun and especially wind, be sure to attempt this with good weather. This would include not attempting this during the hottest time of a midsummer's day in Cape Town. Be sure to take plenty of water, hat, apply sunscreen and a wind breaker. The views from the summit are well worth this somewhat tough walk.
