Itinerary description

Desaru Coast is marketed as "an idyllic getaway destination overlooking South China Sea evoking a sense of refreshing calm to leisure seekers, with whispers of the promise of tropical adventures". Well. This amble takes in the three main hotels available to intrepid leisure seekers, including the Adventure Waterpark. About 3/4 of the walk is on pavement suitable for pedestrians, while one segment has NO pedestrian walkways and you have to risk life and limb on the roads, or grass verges. Obviously, a walk better done in the early morning (and given that there is often no shade, this would be the wiser choice in many ways, anyway).
