Itinerary description
Bjarke Cirkelsten is a Thomas Dambo troll that is within walking distance of Dragør.
As the name suggests Bjarke supervises/is responsible for a large circle of stones. On the day that we visited the local school children were taking a break from classes and playing on the troll. It was obvious that the troll was a favourite play area for the children.
Bjarke was a lot easier to find than the two trolls in Hedeland.
Assuming that you start in Dragør you could use a local bus to travel some of the way and reduce the amount of walking. The coastal walk near Søvang is very nice and probably should not be missed. The forest area that Bjarke is located in is very close to Kongelunden, so you could visit Bjarke in conjunction with a walk through Kongelunden.
Another option, assuming you are not starting in Dragør, is to get to Tårnby by train, and then catch a 250S bus to a stop that is close to Bjarke (such as: Store Magleby Strandvej (Krudttårnsvej)). Or, if you start at the airport catch a 35 bus to Dragør and then change to a 250S.
The area between Dragør and Bjarke is quite rural in nature and you frequently encounter horse riders, produce for sale, etc.
