Itinerary description
The artist's village is accessed from Dafen Metro station, up to 45 minutes by subway from the Shenzhen city center. From the Metro its am approximate 5 minute walk. There are sufficient direction signs along the way, also in English.
Walking around the oil painting alleys and workshops is free.There are one or two cafes or tea houses inside the artist's lanes and alleys.
Many artists can be seen at work on a variety of themes, both originals and copies of famous works. There are shops for picture framing and art supplies too.
