Itinerary description

English (castellano debajo):

There are several parking areas in the village, either near the port or a little more in the center or on the outskirts. From there we headed towards the port where the tour began and we took the opportunity to listen to some music and see the atmosphere of the festival.

The path is very beautiful and you can go as far as you want to Vevey and in all the towns you pass through there is the option of returning by train if necessary.

When the sun is present, it is true that you will not find many shady areas to shelter you, but you will find some other source (designed for irrigation) but that can be used at least to quench thirst or heat.

The views of the lake, the entire Lavaux (world heritage) and the mountains are breathtaking.
Along the way we pass towns like Epesses, Chexbres, Rivax or Treytorrens. Even though the path is marked there is no reason to follow it. All the sloping terrain is made up of other paths to gain access to the vineyards, so going by one or the other will not have a possible loss. We will also come across several places with tables and benches to have a small picnic. Of course, all busy.

Highly recommended to do as a family, in summer or when it is sunny and exceptionally in the time of caves ouvertes in the area (where we will have wine tasting); when it's the Cully Jazz festival for the atmosphere or the Lavaux up day (car-free day between Cully and Vevey).

Castellano:
