Itinerary description
Parked at Crook near the Sun Inn. Walked to underbarrow along minor roads and public footpaths. Paths quite difficult to follow in places due to poor signage

Old church tower
Near Crook is the tower of what was the manor chapel for Crook Hall. It served the people from the 16th to the end of the 19th century. It dates from about 1620, with the bell openings and parapet looking Jacobean.
