This is a wonderful ramble that takes you through some of the best walkable green spaces in Concord: the Old Manse, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery (where you'll find the graves of Emerson, Thoreau and Louisa May Alcott. Tree-lined dirt paths that do have a fair amount of biking traffic, but not too much. Great Meadows. One caveat: the beginning/end of the trail (depending on how you start) is private property, at the edge of Great Meadows. So it's best to avoid that path if possible and find another way back into town to the parking lot.
