Itinerary description

Trani, quite simply, is a charm. Its history is defined by its location on the Adriatic Sea, as Trani's strategic position made it a flourishing commercial centre and an important departure point for the Crusades. Today, Trani's Old Town still provides a network of mediaeval streets with plenty of interesting architecture arranged around the old fishing port. The Cathedral and restored castle are the town's most prominent structures, but the Old Town and beyond is a lovely place to wander about.
