Itinerary description

Otranto is one of Puglia's most charming towns. The imposing castle, thick perimeter walls and robust towers dominate much of the town, giving way to a small port and a series of sea-front promenades. The walk is short, yet well worth it. I did it early morning, well away from the tourist swell that will crowd the streets and restaurants later during the day.
