Itinerary description

Lecce is a good place to stroll around, take in the Baroque architecture, and enjoy the off-white/yellow-ish colours that emanate from the local limestone. The walk takes in all of the main sites - Church of Santa Croce; Roman Theatre; Piazza del Duomo, Porta Napoli, Piazza Sant'Oronzo, Palazzo dei Celestini - but to quite some extent, the idea is to wander about and soak up the atmosphere.
