Is it possible to reach Tamsai from Panvel by Public transport?
St bus service was not available. However i saw some auto. It may be reserve not share.

It proved invaluable when we did the Tamsai-Chanderi caves-Chinchavali traverse last month. From what I found out, one can find ST buses from Panvel depot to Dundra but they are very infrequent with the first one before 6 and the next at 12 noon. If one manages to board the ST bus and alights at Dundra, apparently there are sharing tumtums/autorickshaws in Dundra for proceeding ahead to Tamsai. We didn't want to take a chance and hence decided to hire a Tumtum outright from the flyover opposite Panvel depot for Tamsai. It cost us 500 rs for 8 people. If the group is 5+, I 'll suggest doing the same.
