RUTA del CENTRO HISTORICO de VALENCIA
Ruta que se inicia junto a las Torres de Serranos y que finaliza en las Torres de Quart,esta ruta no se trata de ir corriendo ya que se puede hacer al rededor de 1h y poco sin ir deprisa,se pierde mas tiempo en hacer fotos que hacer la ruta por la gran aglomeracion de la gente y mas en un dia festivo como el de hoy.
RECOMENDACIÓNES:
Tal vez sea recomendable madrugar para ver los monumentos con luz y asi hacer las fotos mas tranquilo y a la vez hay menos gente e iluminaciones especiales para que sean más atractivos,es una muy buena recomendación ya que por la mañana hay pero que mucha gente y mas en la Basilica de los Desemparados,muchos visitante que debe ser el punto de encuentro por lo menos ya que se ve todo tipo de culturas todos reunidos en este punto.
Pasaremos por las siguientes calles.plazas donde estan situados los Monumetos vistados
ITINERARIO
Se inicia la Ruta por la parte trasera de las Torres de Serranos y este es el orden de visita de los Monumentos Calle Conde de trenos,Plaza de San Lorenzo,Plaza de Manises,Calle Caballeros,Plaza de la Virgen,Calle del Micalet,Plaza de la Reina,Calle de la Barcella,Plaza de Almoina,Calle de Almodi,Calle Marques de dos Aguas,Carrer dels Llibrers,Plaza del Ayuntamiento,Plaza del Mercado,Calle Quart fin del recorrido de la ruta.

VALENCIA HISTORICAL CENTER ROUTE
Route that begins next to the Torres de Serranos and ends at the Torres de Quart, this route is not about running because it can do around 1h and little without going fast, you lose more time in Do Photos that make the route for the great agglomeration of people and more on a holiday like today.
RECOMMENDATIONS:

1-TORRES de SERRANO:
Aquí comienza nuestro paseo a pie por el casco antiguo de la ciudad. Duración aproximada: 1h
Magnífico exponente de la arquitectura gótica militar del siglo XIV. Nacen como defensoras de uno de los accesos más usados de la Valencia medieval.
Horario: Martes a sábado, de 10 a 14 h. y de 16.30 a 20.30 h. Domingos de 10 a 15 h.

Here begins our walking tour through the old town. Approximate duration: 1h
Magnificent exponent of the Gothic military architecture of the XIV century. They are born as defenders of one of the most used accesses of medieval Valencia.
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 2 pm. And from 4.30 pm to 8:30 p.m. Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Also called Jaudenes, it is a palatial building of the sixteenth century former residence of the Bayle general.Restored on several occasions, today it is the seat of the Diputación Provincial de Valencia.

Casa Palacio de los Boil, marqueses de Scala y Señores de Manises. Desde su primitiva construcción en el siglo XVI, asimila y repite los esquemas de los palacios góticos, con aportaciones posteriores, especialmente renacentistas.En la actualidad es la sede de la Diputación Provincial de Valencia.

House of Boil Palace, Marquis of Scala and Lords of Manises. From its primitive construction in the sixteenth century, it assimilates and repeats the schemes of Gothic palaces, with subsequent contributions, especially Renaissance.At present it is the headquarters of the Provincial Council of Valencia.

Su construcción comienza en 1421 con estilo gótico tardío. Albergaba la institución que representaba al Reino de Valencia ante las Cortes.Hoy es la sede de la presidencia del gobierno autonómico.

Templo dedicado a la Virgen de los Desamparados, patrona de la ciudad. Constituye el principal edificio religioso construido en Valencia durante el siglo XVII y la primera obra barroca de nueva planta. Dispone de camarín, elemento altamente significativo del barroco y uno de los primeros que se conocen en España.
Horario: Todos los días de 7:00 a 14:00 h y de 16:30 a 21:00.

6-REAL BASILICA OF OUR LADY OF THE UNEMPLOYED:

Temple dedicated to the Virgin of the Forsaken, patron of the city. It is the main religious building built in Valencia during the 17th century and the first Baroque work of a new plant. It has a dressing room, a highly significant element of Baroque and one of the first known in Spain.
Hours: Every day from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Asentada sobre las ruinas de un templo romano, convertido en mezquita después, su origen se remonta al siglo XIII. No pertenece a un estilo unitario, sus lenguajes van desde el románico hasta el barroco. Imprescindible visitar el Miguelete (campanario construido en los siglos XIV – XV) y la Capilla del Santo Cáliz (conserva el Santo Cáliz que, según la tradición, empleó Jesucristo en la última cena).
Horario de visitas: Laborables de 10 a 18 h. Visperas de domingos y festivos de 10 a 17.30 h. Domingos y festivos de 14 a 17.30 Entrada: 4€.

Set on the ruins of a Roman temple, later converted into a mosque, its origins date back to the 13th century. It does not belong to a unitary style, its languages range from Romanesque to Baroque. It is essential to visit the Miguelete (bell tower built in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries) and the Chapel of the Holy Chalice (it conserves the Holy Chalice which, according to tradition, used Jesus Christ at the last supper).

Proyecto, que ayudado por soluciones vanguardistas, permite admirar restos de asentamientos de las distintas civilizaciones en Valencia. Destacan: edificios monumentales, unas termas del Siglo II, las dos calles principales de la ciudad romana y un patio de una antigua ciudad musulmana.

El Almudín se construyó sobre el alcázar musulmán a principios del siglo XIV como lugar de almacenaje y venta de trigo. En el interior se contemplan pinturas murales de carácter popular alusivas a la entrada de trigo en la ciudad, históricamente una de las mayores preocupaciones de sus gobernantes.

The Almudín was built on the Muslim fortress in the early 14th century as a place for storage and sale of wheat. In the interior are contemplated murals of popular character allusive to the entrance of wheat in the city, historically one of the majors preoccupations of its rulers.

Important Museum of Ceramics today (Museo González Martí), built during the last decade of the fifteenth century. It is essential to contemplate the impressive cover, worked in alabaster of the country, that covers two heights.

Alberga el Archivo Municipal y su Museo, encontrándose en el resto distintas dependencias administrativas. En el centro de la fachada principal hay una torre que alberga el reloj. En el interior destaca el Salón de Cristal y el de Sesiones, al igual que la gran escalera de mármol. En el exterior destacan dos cúpulas elípticas recubiertas de teja vidriada, y el gran balcón que cubre el cuerpo central del piso principal.
Horario: De lunes a viernes, de 10.00 a 13.30 h., a menos que algún acto oficial impida el acceso.

It houses the Municipal Archive and its Museum, being in the rest different administrative units. In the center of the main facade there is a tower that houses the clock. In the interior highlights the Glass Hall and the Sessions, as well as the large marble staircase. In the exterior stand out two elliptical domes covered with glazed tile, and the large balcony that covers the central body of the main floor.
Hours: Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 1:30 pm, unless an official act prevents access.

Es el mercado en activo más grande de Europa. Gran edificio modernista de 1928 que consta de planta baja y sótano con 959 puestos. Los paramentos cubiertos de azulejos en la parte baja, junto con la piedra, madera y vidrieras de colores forman un conjunto policromo y favorecen que la luz ilumine el interior.
Horario: de lunes a sábado: de 8.00 a 15.00 h. Domingos cerrado.

It is the largest active market in Europe. Large modernist building from 1928 consisting of ground floor and basement with 959 seats. The walls covered with tiles in the lower part, together with stone, wood and stained glass form a polychrome set and favor the light to illuminate the interior.

Declarado por la UNESCO Patrimonio de la Humanidad .
De 1492, consta de tres cuerpos y un jardín o "patio de naranjos". El Salón Columnario, está dividido en tres naves longitudinales y cinco transversales, en función de las ocho columnas que soportan las bóvedas. En esta Sala se instaló la Taula de Canvis, instituida en 1407. En la planta baja del Torreón, se ubicaba la capilla dedicada a la Inmaculada Concepción, mientras que los dos pisos altos se destinaban a cárcel de mercaderes morosos en el pago.

Declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site.
From 1492, it consists of three bodies and a garden or "patio of orange trees". The Columnary Hall is divided into three longitudinal and five transversal naves, depending on the eight columns that support the vaults. In this room the Taula de Canvis, instituted in 1407, was installed. On the ground floor of the Torreon, the chapel dedicated to the Immaculate Conception was located, while the two upper floors were used for imprisonment of merchants who were delinquent in payment.

15-LAS TORRES de QUART: Guillem de Castro, 89, 46003
Levantadas por Pere Bonfill, son un ejemplo de construcción militar del gótico tardío. Proyectadas como puertas defensoras de la ciudad, recibieron, hasta 1874, el nombre de Torres de la Cal, debido a que en el siglo XVIII se exigía que la cal que entrara en Valencia pasara por allí. La fachada posterior se descubrió de manera que pudiera verse el interior, destinado, durante cierto tiempo, a cárcel de mujeres.

15-THE QUART TOWERS: Guillem de Castro, 89, 46003
Raised by Pere Bonfill, they are an example of late Gothic military construction. Projected as defensive doors of the city, they received, until 1874, the name of Torres de la Cal, because in the eighteenth century it was demanded that the lime that entered Valencia passed by there. The rear façade was discovered so that the interior could be seen, destined, for a certain time, to women's prison.
