Itinerary description

This gentle walk covers the historic (and now very expensive) area around the central Padang, heading towards Singapore River where you can explore the historic sites and buildings, and admire the view across to the Central Business District. You head towards Clarke Quay but then branch away from the busy entertainment area, and head upwards towards the relative quiet of Fort Canning Park (which is just as historic). Following the gentle meader around FCP (be warned: it can be quite hilly!), the walk descends back down to the National Museum of Singapore, curves round to the original foothills of Singapore Botanic Gardens and then ends at City Hall MRT.
