Itinerary description
Troisième étape de ce grand tour de Bordeaux. Après avoir quitté le Parc Rivière, le visiteur se rend à la cité du Grand Parc, projet urbain des années 50 composé de barres d'immeubles proposant 4 000 logements. La fin du parcours permet de découvrir un nouveau projet de développement urbain près des bassins à flots. Au fond du bassin 1 se dresse une base sous-marine construite par la Kriegsmarine lors de la seconde guerre mondiale. Les quais sont agrémentés de restaurants et bars installés dans les anciens hangars mais aussi sur des bateaux à quai. L'itinéraire s'arrête au bout du quai face à l'usine Lesieur quasi désaffectée.
Third stage of this grand tour of Bordeaux. After leaving the Parc Rivière, visitors head towards the cité du Grand Parc, this urban project of the 1950s deploys apartment blocks offering 4,000 housings. The end of the path introduces a new urban development project near the docks (bassins à flots). At the bottom of the basin 1 stands a submarine base built by the German Navy during the Second World War. The docks are filled with restaurants and bars installed in old warehouses but also on dock boats. The route stops at the end of the dock facing the Lesieur -almost- disused factory.
