Itinerary description
I did this one backwards by mistake but would highly recommend that route.
The first part is tough but you reach the top of the hill fairly quickly. Pelican view point is shortly after and you then have a nice leisurely descent back to Marigot Bay/Oasis resorts.
Only issue was that I was met with a barbed wire fence and locked gates at the end. Going over wasn’t an option, however a stick and bucket had been conveniently left near one of the gates. If you stand on the bucket (may not need to if tall!) and reach over using the stick you can lift the piece of wood locking the gates.
You’ll get through no problem, just make sure it’s locked again after :)
Still very glad I did this one backwards. Much more enjoyable route in my mind.
