Itinerary description
I started somewhere near the train station at Bernau am Chiemsee. After passing through the town centre and the Pfarrkirche St. Laurentius (Parish Church of St. Lawrence), the ascend to Bärnsee started. I walked past large pastures, some village houses and reached Bärnsee at last. I then followed the path to walk around the lake. After I reached the tranquil village of Höhenberg, I had some trouble finding the way forward. I finally found the correct path and got back to the starting point of the circular trail. After that, I returned to Bernau am Chiemsee following the same path. The weather was pretty fine considering the rain had just stopped after pouring through the previous night.
